Conference USA

Conference USA, officially abbreviated C-USA, is a College Athletic Conference which stretches from Texas in the west to Florida in the east. The conference participates in the NCAA's Division I, and in Division I-A for football.
For 2004/2005, there will be 14 member schools:
- University of North Carolina at Charlotte [=Charlotte] (non-football member)
- University of Cincinnati
- DePaul University (non-football member)
- East Carolina University
- University of Houston
- University of Louisville
- Marquette University (non-football member)
- University of Memphis
- Saint Louis University (non-football member)
- University of South Florida
- University of Southern Mississippi [=Southern Miss]
- Texas Christian University [=TCU]
- Tulane University
- University of Alabama at Birmingham [=UAB]
In 2005, eight of the current members will leave for other conferences:
In the same year, six schools will join:- University of Central Florida
- Marshall University
- Rice University
- Southern Methodist University
- University of Texas at El Paso
- University of Tulsa
