Conversano is an ancient town located in Apulia (or Puglia), Italy.
30km south-east from Bari, 7 km from the Adriatic Sea Altitude: 219mt Medieval castle dating from the Norman-Schwabian domination The local Cathedral is see of the bishop of the diocese of Conversano-Monopoli Conversano black horses with Arab blood, strong ram-like heads, short backs, broad hocks used for purebreed Lippizan horses (Lipizzaner).
