Eduard Rueppell

Wilhelm Peter Eduard Simon Rueppell (November 20, 1794 - December 10, 1884) was a German naturalist and explorer.
Rueppell made two expeditions to northern and eastern Africa in the early 19th century, returning with large zoological and entomological collections.
