List of wars
This is a list of Swedish monarchs, that is, the Kingss and ruling Queenss of Sweden with Regents and Viceroys of the Kalmar Union up until the present time.

There are lists of Swedish pagan monarchs with dates far older than these. These records contain the early kings and give an explanation to the numbering of the monarchs, particularly the names Erik and Karl (Eric and Charles). However these records are in many cases dubious and include kings who supposedly reigned for 150 years. Because of this, lists of succession traditionally start with the first baptized Christian king of Sweden, Olof Skoetkonung and his father Erik Segersaell.
