Michel Camdessus

Michel Camdessus (born May 1, 1933) was Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) from January 16, 1997 to February 14, 2000.
Born in Bayonne, France, Mr. Camdessus was educated at the University of Paris and earned postgraduate degrees in economics at the Institute of Political Studies of Paris and the Ecole nationale d'administration.
