Vocal harmony group formed in 1955 at Northern High School in Detroit MI, USA. Moslty noted as the backing singers for one of the founding members, William "Smokey" Robinson.

Members included:

  • William Robinson (B. Feb. 19, 1940, Detroit, MI USA)
  • Emerson Rogers* (B. Feb. 19, 1940, Detroit, MI USA)
  • Bobby Rogers (B. Feb. 19, 1940, Detroit, MI USA)
  • Ronnie White (B. Apr. 5, 1939, Detroit, MI USA - Aug. 26, 1995)
  • Warren "Pete" Moore (B. Nov. 19, 1935, Detroit, MI USA)
(* Emerson Rogers left the band in 1956 and was replaced by his sister, Claudette Rogers, who later married Smokey Robinson.) The band was signed to Motown Records in 1960 and had numerous hits on both the R&B and Pop charts, such as:
  • "You Really Got A Hold On Me"
  • "Going To A Go-Go"
  • "The Tracks Of My Tears" and their signature song:
  • "Ooh, Baby Baby"
