University of Ulster
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
The University of Ulster is a multi-site university in Northern Ireland. It has four campuses in Coleraine (where the administrative headquarters is located), Jordanstown, Magee and Belfast.
The University was created in 1984 by the merger of the New University of Ulster and Ulster Polytechnic (a Polytechnic). It was the first, and to date only, trans-binary merger in UK higher education whereby what is now called a Pre 92 University merged with what would now be a Post 92 University.
